MIni-workshops

Learn new techniques, participate in a knit-a-thon, make new knitterly friends at an AKG-sponsored, relaxed mini-workshop!

The Atlanta Knitting Guild periodically hosts Mini-Workshops. These classes are shorter than our major “superstar” workshops and are taught by local teachers and guild members.

Read details below and on our calendar for updates, and our store to register.

Monthly mini-workshops are taught on both a weekend and a weeknight to hopefully make it easier for more of us to be able to attend.  The fee for most mini-workshops is moderate and payment must be made in advance on the AKG website store or in person at guild meetings. Minimum registration is 5 to hold a class. Fees will be refunded for cancelled classes.

Past Workshops have included:

  • Labyrinth knitting with Jolie Elder
  • Gradient dying with Gale’s Art
  • Alpaca fleece preparation with Lynne Davidson
  • Estonian stitch sampler with Mary Holton
  • Color theory with Phyllis Bell Miller
  • baby surprise jacket chart design with Jill Vogin
  • Bear sweater knit-ins
  • Double Knitting with Jolie Elder
  • Wet Felting

Questions are the root of all answers.
