  This is a traditional fair. It has a home arts and fine arts section including ribbons awarded for excellence in knitting.

• Southeastern Animal Fiber Fair - October 24-26, 2025.

  This is our big regional festival. If there is anything fiber arts related you need, this is the place to find it! There are lots of regional vendors and small businesses that appreciate the support. The 2024 show was canceled in the wake of Hurricane Helene.

• Kanuga Knitting and Quilting Retreat — 2026 TBD, Hendersonville, NC.
  This is a retreat at an Episcopalian campground on a lake. Registration includes classes, lodging, and food.
   

• Knitting History Forum Conference 2025 — 2026 TBD, virtual.
  This academic conference is organized out of the United Kingdom. 
   

• Nash Yarn Fest — 2026 TBD
  This is a new show in Nashville. It has workshops with Arne & Carlos and a market.
   

• Carolina Fiber Fest — 2026 TBD, NC State Fairgrounds in Raleigh.
  This is a traditional fiber festival with a market and workshops.
   

• The Knitting Guild Association - Next Level Knitting Conference - 2026 TBD, VIRTUAL
  This online conference has a full range of classes. Videos are posted for 6 months.

• Georgia Mountain Needle Arts Festival, April 25-27, 2027, Gilmer County Civic Center in Ellijay.This is a sweet festival that supports regional fiber arts businesses.
